Milk protein cut time spent awake in the night by 8 minutes in people whose sleep was already poor
The warm-milk folk remedy has never had much behind it. Pooling 11 randomized trials, milk-derived proteins and peptides improved the share of time in bed actually spent asleep, and the effect was largest in people with disturbed sleep.

Redesigning meals raised older adults' protein intake by 12 grams a day, and counseling did the work
A Nutrition Reviews meta-analysis of 16 studies in adults over 50 found that redesigning ordinary meals added about 12 grams of protein a day. What made it work was individual counseling and a specific gram target, not the food itself.
