Loneliness was tied to a higher risk of heart valve disease

A Journal of the American Heart Association study of 462,917 UK Biobank adults, tracked for about 14 years, found that those who felt lonely had a higher risk of degenerative heart valve disease, while living alone or being socially isolated did not carry the same risk.
