Social jet lag tied to 30% more heart disease
A Journal of Internal Medicine study tracked sleep timing in 51,562 UK adults and found those whose weekend sleep shifted two hours or more had 30% higher heart disease risk, whatever their sleep duration.

A regular sleep schedule tracked with lower dementia risk
A week of wrist-monitor sleep in 82,391 UK adults showed that those with the most regular schedules were less likely to develop dementia, and a steady rhythm seemed to offset sleeping too little. It shows a link, not proof.
