Ultra-processed food tied to 19% higher heart-death risk

An Australian study followed 39,544 adults for a median of 25 years. Those eating the most ultra-processed food were more likely to die of cardiovascular disease, even after accounting for sugar, salt and diet quality. A link, not proof.
